  • COST

The Jet 200 keeps it simple with a five layer, all wood construction. Padding is provided by a basic rubber coating and sponge.

This paddle’s rubber is a very simple design that’s made for control, not speed. The Jet 200 is really designed to help beginners or less experienced players learn the game and gain some confidence with better ball control.

The flared handle helps instill confidence by giving users of all sizes a good, consistent grip throughout the game.

Who Is the Killerspin Jet 200 For?

It’s designed for beginner and recreational players.

While it may have a simple design and recreation-level build that’s not approved by the ITTF for competition, it’s still a very competent paddle that will more than satisfy most players.

The low speed and poor spin really limit this paddle for more competitive players.

But, of course, a faster, competition level table tennis racket will set buyers back quite a bit more in terms of price.

Our Opinion

Killerspin Jet 200

Overall, the Jet 200 is an excellent paddle that is well made and designed to last.

For recreational players looking to take their game up a notch, this paddle is worth consideringIt will give you much better control and speed than most cheaper paddles.

The other great thing about this paddle is how much it can help newer players learn the game.

One of the most important skills to develop in table tennis is control and a paddle like this one can help newer players do just that with a high degree of control at lower speeds.

The only player that this paddle is probably not great for is the more experienced competitor. With low speeds and less than desirable spin, the it may be a little disappointing for the seasoned competitor.

Other Options Worth Looking At

The Jet 200 is a great option for less experienced or recreational players. But, if you’re looking for something a little more advanced, there are better options out there.

At this price point, the Jet 200 also has quite a few competitors.

If you really want to take it up a notch, consider the Killerspin Jet 800.

The Jet 800 is a fast racket with excellent spin. It’s also competition ready with an approval by the ITTF, seven layer construction including wood and carbon fiber, and Nitrx-4z rubber.

Another option worth looking at is the Stiga Titan.

This racket is priced reasonably priced like the Jet 200 and also has five-ply construction that takes advantage of lightweight balsa wood. 2mm rubber gives players good speed and control.
